LORGNETTE Console
POA
The inspiration for this console table comes from the lorgnette, which was often used in the 19th century as a statement jewellery piece by fashionable ladies at the masquerade balls and the opera.
Lorgnette Console stands on two cone-shaped pillars cladded in satin brass sheets. White and green marble inlays have been precisely cut by hand to be inserted in the brass frame, which has been hand forged and twisted to give the brass its hammered looking texture.
